The Third Man

Well, my internet's shot fer now, they figured out how I was hacking their lines and shut me out. Dunno how I can still get this place, looks like it's the only place I can still get. Bit suspicious really, like they're wanting me to post on here, but ain't anything I can do about it. So how's everyone else? Anything interesting happened that I've missed?

((OOC: Ok, this is pretty much all taken from the manga, I'm writing it more to try and improve my RL writing skills than anything, I haven't done any for ages and could use some practise XD If you've got any tips to give me I'd be more than grateful~ I actually hate writing in third person XD))

Mimura leant back against a tree, totally at home, unlike Yutaka who was staring at the laptop in nervous anticipation. It almost hurt to watch him sit there so impatiently, anyone would think he didn't trust Mimura. Honestly, he thought, his plan was flawless, there was no need for the little guy to stress so much, nothing could go wrong now. "Give it a rest." he said with a grin, "It's gonna take a bit of time. Let it run. A watched pot never boils." Yutaka looked slightly embarrassed as he agreed with him, but he realised that Mim was right, so decided to take his mind off things by talking about what would happen after the virus had taken out the computer systems and disabled the collars that were keeping them on that damned island. This was fine by Mimura, at least he seemed less jumpy now. However, just a few minutes had passed when a beeping sound came from the laptop.
"I think it's done." said Yutaka happily, rushing back to look at the screen. Mimura, however, felt less optimistic, no way could it have finished downloading in such a short space of time. With a feeling of foreboding he leapt up and shoved Yutaka out of the way, much to the shorter guy's irritation. It was as he expected, a message sat squarely in the centre of the screen, almost defiantly declaring the words "Connection terminated".
"Crap, we been bounced." Mim swore angrily. "Dammit, how'd they tumble to us?"

So...there was some sort of plot was there? Well, there's a surprise, always is, right? Been living in the past for a couple of weeks apparantly. Don't remember much else. Guess I owe that guy a favour though, not many get the chance to relive their past, got me out of this place too. Dunno how time works between worlds, but seems I was only gone for a couple of hours, can't tell if that's good or not. Anyway, guess this means I ain't gonna get the chance to see you for a while yet, Kurt. But I said I'd come and I'll make sure I do~♥ I'll teach you basic computing and then the offer of a game still stands ^^ Until then, guess I'll just see you around on here.

Well, dunno what happened, but that guy never showed up at my place to pick me up and take me over to Kurt's. I hung around for ages too, case he got lost, but after a coupla hours in the rain you start to lose hope. Guess this means I won't be trying any pastries any time soon...

Anyway, yesterday, went out with a friend of mine, Iijima, just playin' some video games, relaxing. So, I won, he had to go buy the drinks, seems fair enough, right? Well, some punks start giving me shit and it ends up in a fight. Now, I notice Iijima watching, hanging back, which is fair enough, not everyone wants to get into a fight, and it was nothin' to do with him anyway. Trouble is, after it's over he suddenly makes an appearance, actin' as if he'd only just arrived, claimed he'd have given me a hand if he'd made it back in time. Guess I can see what sort of person he is now, he hung me out over a coke damnit, he was angry coz I beat him in a game. Well, he'd better not expect anything from me in the future, I'll be damned if I'm ever gonna help him out.

Looks like people are gettin' pretty untrustworthy these days.

Hell yeah! Just won our most recent basketball match! Talk about heart pounding, thought we were gonna lose it at one point, that idiot Shuuya missed the hoop completely, said summat about shootin' for the moon, apparantly even if you miss yer still higher than anyone else. It's an interesting thought, so I let him have another go, and he made it~ Mebbe there's something in that shoot for the moon thing. Or he just got lucky, but it's a nice thought. Meant I didn't get to do my clutch shot, but can't steal the game every time, right?
It's made us all pretty popular with the ladies, could be some fun comin' up now~♥ Can't disappoint a pretty girl, if ya know what I mean ^.~ I'll leave it there, we're all off out to celebrate, should be a good night too, wish me luck~♥

((OOC: Hypnotised Mimura has gone back in time to before the Battle Royale program, because I HAVE NO IMAGINATION XD It'll be nice to play a cheerful, unstressed Mimura. Oh yeah, he still remembers everyone from here, he just doesn't know anything about his own future))
